Working out of eight regional centers, 211 specialists use an advanced database of more than 12,000 agencies and networks to pinpoint services close to your home. Across Wisconsin, more than 100 staff and volunteers make up the state 211 network, providing services including answering calls and requests, managing the extensive database of programs and services, and ensuring our sophisticated technology works.

Trained and Inform USA-certified community resource managers curate every listing found in our database. Information and referral specialists throughout our eight regional centers participate in 25-40 hours of comprehensive training to ensure callers receive professional, friendly, and knowledgeable service every time. Information is collected through daily research, involvement in community coalitions, partnerships with United Way, suggestions from users, and daily interaction with those seeking help. Updates are incorporated into the database within 72 business hours and are immediately available to users and 211 database integration partners. All listings are thoroughly vetted using established criteria.
