Waiver
The Organization voluntarily agrees to participate in UW Valleys Day of Caring and is aware of the wide range of activities involved. By participating, the Organization affirms that all Organizational Volunteers are doing so voluntarily and with full understanding of the nature of the activities involved. The Organization does hereby freely, voluntarily, and without duress agree to this Waiver and Release on behalf of itself and its volunteers.
 In consideration of being permitted to participate in Day of Caring, the Organization agrees to release and forever discharge and hold harmless UW Valleys, its successors board and staff, collectively or individually, from any and all liability, claims, and demands of any kind or nature, whether in law or in equity, that may arise from participation in Day of Caring activities. This includes any incidents occurring at project sites such as UW Valleys member agencies, other non-profits, private residences, or any other locations involved in Day of Caring. The Organization acknowledges that UW Valleys does not assume any responsibility for providing financial or medical assistance to volunteers.
 The Organization acknowledges that activities associated with Day of Caring may carry inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury or property damage. The Organization, on behalf of itself and its volunteers, assumes full responsibility for these risks and releases UW Valleys from any and all liability related to such risks. Furthermore, the Organization releases UW Valleys from any liability related to medical treatment or services rendered in connection with participation.
The Organization understands and agrees that UW Valleys does not provide health, medical, or disability insurance for volunteers. The Organization is responsible for ensuring that its participants are appropriately insured, and each volunteer is encouraged to obtain their own medical and/or health insurance coverage.
The Organization consents to the use by UW Valleys of photographic images, video footage, and audio recordings taken during Day of Caring, including those of its volunteers. The Organization grants UW Valleys the rights to use and reproduce these materials for promotional and marketing purposes across various media platforms.
Organizational Waiver & Release for Day of Caring: This Waiver & Release is executed by the undersigned organization on behalf of its employees, agents, representatives, or volunteers who are participating in United Way St. Croix and Red Cedar Valleys (UW Valleys) Day of Caring activities.
