United Way St. Croix and Red Cedar Valleys Introduces Updated Ways to Give Page

United Way St. Croix and Red Cedar Valleys (UW Valleys) has launched
an updated Ways to Give page. The page makes it easier for supporters
to explore multiple ways to contribute to the community and help local
families access education, health resources, and financial stability.
Ways to Give
- Donate Online - Support families with a secure, one time or recurring gift. Online donations provide immediate support to local programs and services, helping children, seniors, and families in need. Every donation, large or small, directly strengthens communities across the St. Croix and Red Cedar Valleys.
- Workplace Giving - Employees and employers can participate in workplace campaigns to support UW Valleys. Campaigns can include payroll deductions, team activities, fundraising events, and other creative ways to encourage staff. Resources and guidance are provided to help organizations plan and run successful campaigns, making it easy for everyone to get involved.
- Gifts of Stock - Donating appreciated stocks, bonds, or other securities is a simple and tax-efficient way to give. Stock gifts may provide a charitable deduction for the fair market value and help avoid capital gains taxes. The page includes step-by-step instructions and contact information to ensure gifts are processed quickly and accurately.
- Legacy Gifts - Planned or deferred giving allows supporters to leave a lasting impact. Legacy gifts can include donations through a will, retirement plan, or life insurance policy. UW Valleys also partners with the St. Croix Valley Foundation to manage the Legacy Fund, which provides ongoing support to meet both current and future community needs.
- Tribute Gifts - Honor a loved one or celebrate a special occasion with a tribute gift. These donations provide a meaningful way to recognize someone important while supporting local families and programs.
