UW Valleys is pleased to announce the start of the 2026 Otto Bremer Trust Community Responsive Fund process in partnership with Otto Bremer Trust. Through this partnership, UW Valleys will help support nonprofit organizations serving Burnett, Dunn, Pepin, Pierce, Polk, and St. Croix counties.

Nonprofits interested in being considered for funding are invited to complete the eligibility assessment between May 1 and May 18, 2026. Organizations selected through the assessment process may be invited to submit a full application for funding.

The 2026 focus areas include:

  • Food
  • Shelter
  • Low-income healthcare clinics
  • Disability services
  • School-based mental health

Organizations must meet eligibility requirements, including, but not limited to: holding 501(c)(3) nonprofit status, operating within the UW Valleys service region, maintaining at least five years of successful operations, and last fiscal year’s actual expenses must have been $2 million or more, excluding in-kind expenses.
