Guiding UW Valleys Into Its Next Chapter of Community Impact

United Way St. Croix and Red Cedar Valleys (UW Valleys) has appointed Randy Morrissette II as its new Executive Director, following the retirement of Executive Director Steve McCarthy.

Randy brings more than 25 years of leadership experience advancing organizational growth, strategic development, and community impact. A longtime civic leader, he has served on the Hudson Common Council since 2006, currently as Council President. He has also held leadership roles with the UW Stout Foundation, Hudson Noon Rotary Club, and numerous civic and nonprofit boards throughout the region.

As Executive Director, Randy will lead UW Valleys’ efforts to strengthen partnerships, advance community-driven solutions, and deepen impact in education, financial stability, and health across Burnett, Dunn, Pepin, Pierce, Polk, and St. Croix counties. His appointment comes at an important time as the organization builds on the momentum from the merger of United Way St. Croix Valley and the Dunn County United Way.
